About your fishing trip…

Normally your trip will begin at daylight, we will depart from the dock at Marina del Ray at Soldier’s Creek, Kingston, OK.

You will fish out of a 24-foot Blazer Bay striper boat, powered by a 300 4-stroke, Yamaha motor and state-of-the-art Garmin Live View electronics. I will supply all bait and tackle, with on the water instruction for beginners.  Methods of catching fish varies depending upon the time of the year. If you would like to bring your own tackle please let me know at the time you book, I do understand some people like to use their own gear, but your gear may be too light for striper action.

All anglers required a fishing license, a Lake Texoma Fishing License is the best option since Lake Texoma is located in both Texas and Oklahoma. This allows you to fish anywhere on the lake. Fishing licenses can be purchased online for $12 at Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Website

We will fish four to six hours or until a limit is caught and you will not be rushed off the lake if we catch you limit quickly. We can catch and release under most circumstances.

Daily limits are 10 Stripers per person with only two 20" or longer.

At the end of your trip I will properly fillet and package all fish caught.

I promise great service and instruction to assure you and your group a memorable fishing adventure.

Please call or email to book your trip or get information about open dates. If I’m not open I can either book you with another qualified guide or provide you a recommendation.

Cancellations

Cancellations are rare, but I will not fish in dangerous conditions, such as lightning, high winds and when the temps extreme during our time on the water.... but I do expect to fish in all other conditions.

Please keep this in mind when booking a trip. It is impossible to know what the weather until the day of the trip.

Wind can be a reason to cancel the trip for safety concerns. It depends on what direction the wind is coming from, how strong and what part of the lake we need to fish on.

I reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time because of unsafe conditions. Our safety is always priority number one.

I will refund your deposit 100% if I cancel because of unsafe conditions.

All client cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Many people ask why should they book a guide, here are my thoughts:

It’s inexpensive comparatively to hire a guide than owning your own boat for a few days on the lake. Guides supply the right tackle and bait.

Guides usually have more safety backups like marine radios and a network of other guides to help in emergencies.

It's a bonus to let a guide clean the fish and package the fish.

But the number one reason is that guides know the lake and the fish behaviors and want you catch more fish than you might on your own. It's all about catching fish and having fun.
